How do we do that? How do we kiss the earth again? I've created this blog as a place to explore answers to that question.
This blog is intended as an antidote to an age obsessed by speed, screens, and machines, in which most people are not fully embodied. It is meant to awaken readers to the full force of eros, broadly defined, in their own lives. The blog springs from my conviction that eros is the only force strong enough to save our species and our civilization now. We face mortal environmental dangers and our rational minds are not mobilizing us to meet them. What can possibly wake us up? My belief is that images and words that bypass the rational mind and reach directly into the heart, soul, and body are the only force potent enough.
